Irma Wassall was a poet and close friend of Frank Marshall Davis. Material relates primarily to Wassall's career. It includes newspaper clippings about Wassall's poetry and artistic accomplishments; printouts of photographs of Wassall and musicians at an event; photocopies of poems titled "Langston Hughes" and "Federico Garcia Lorca" by Enrique Riverón, both in English and Spanish; published copies of The Ruby-Emerald Jungles and The Fading Year by Wassall; fliers and programs for poetry readings; holiday cards from Davis to Wassall; photocopy of "For a Young Girl in Green" by Ruben F.
