Irma Wassall was a poet and longtime friend of Frank Marshall Davis. Includes letters between Wassall and Davis in the 1940s about writing, poetry, politics, jazz, health, their relationship, and personal matters. Also includes holiday cards from the 1960s, a head and shoulders portrait photograph of Wassall, a program for the South Side Cultural Conference at Corpus Christi Annex in 1944, a photocopy of an article about Wassall from The Wichita Eagle 1999, and typescripts of "Rating the Records" columns by Davis.
