Conferences, talks, and seminars, 1958 - 2002

This sub-series includes materials from conferences attended by Orel, as well as preparatory materials and speaking notes for lectures and presentations given by Orel at events both within KU and on an international stage. Subjects on which Orel presented include Arthur Conan Doyle, Thomas Hardy, Rudyard Kipling, John Millington Synge, Victorian theater, and Rebecca West. Conferences represented include the American Association for the Advancement of Science, American Conference for Irish Studies, International Association for the Study of Anglo-Irish Literature, Kansas Association of College Teachers of English, and the Thomas Hardy Summer School.
