Notes, fragments, and address books, 1947 - 2014

This series contains a wide-ranging assortment of Kenneth Irby's [KLI] notes, fragments, and address books. KLI wrote addresses; contacts; and literary notes and financial details on whatever paper was at hand, including envelopes, newspapers, small scraps of paper, and bank receipts. Many of these notes were folded into pocket size bundles and have been processed to maintain that grouping as much as possible. Most of the literary notes are on notebook paper and include book titles and page numbers. Irby's artistic doodles are found throughout.

Most of this material is undated. Dates mentioned often reflect a date on a receipt or other reused piece of paper or the publication date of the address book rather than the date that the notes may have been written.
