Mary Butts and Carl O. Sauer research, 1979 - 1994

This series contains Kenneth Irby's [KLI] research material on poet Mary Butts. KLI worked on compiling and editing a volume of Butts's collected poems. He gained access to unpublished manuscripts through Camilla Bagg, Butts's daughter. The collection includes this correspondence as well as photocopies of the manuscripts and her published work.

There are also index cards in this series created by Kenneth Irby while compiling the index for geographer Carl O. Sauer's Seventeenth Century North America, posthumously published by the Turtle Island Foundation.
