Records related to research Spreckelmeyer conducted throughout his career, including post occupacy evaluations (POEs), correspondence, architectural drawings, interviews and summaries of interview or survey responses, proposals, statistical information and models, data and data anlysis, budgets, reference materials, drafts of materials, pilot studies, preliminary results and other reports of findings, and documentation of methodology.
Spreckelmeyer served as (co-)principle investigator, research assistant/associate/investigator, or research consultant on a variety of building projects, particularly projects evaluating the usage of buildings. Building types included hospitals--particularly emergency rooms and departments--churches, the Kansas Capitol building, and office buildings. He was also involved in assessing education of architects in Kansas.
