The back half of the box includes personal correspondence (including some of the Picketts' outgoing Christmas letters), family euglogies given by Pickett and some genealogical research he conducted about the Pickett family, reference material about the 1951 flood in northeastern Kansas, news clippings and miscellanous publications of interest to Pickett or containing articles about Pickett, an alphabetical listing of what appear to be song titles [may have been used in "The American Past"?], and some draft writings and reference material [some of which may have been used for "The American Past"?]. Also some information about the Chi Omega fraternity.
