Scope and Contents

Henry Remple's papers span his teenage years until his death in 2010, comprising primarily professional materials, but also a number of personal materials, particularly relating to his early life and transition to living in the United States. Included amongst his papers are reports, class notes, and handouts from Remple's undergraduate and graduate education and research; materials from conferences and workshops, as well as talks given by Remple; professional materials, including reports, correspondence, awards, certificates, teaching materials, and publications; materials from professional organizations, including notably the American Psychological Association, the Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center, and the Kansas Psychological Association; childhood diaries and materials relating to Remple's emigration from Ukraine; preparatory materials for Remple's book From Bolshevik Russia to America; personal correspondence; and materials relating to a rezoning lawsuit in which members of the Remples' neighborhood in Lawrence, Kansas, including Henry and Mariana, were plaintiffs.
