This series includes material on the Phillips lineage, mostly the descendants, ancestors, relatives, and friends of John Hall (J. H.) Phillips (1843-1929) and Maria Elizabeth Gipson Phillips (1855-1947), who married in 1890. One of their children was a son, Alfred G. (A. G. or Fred) Phillips (1895-1976), who married Eva Lathrop Phillips (1894-1996) in 1924. Their only daughter was Mary Phillips Miller (1928-2015).
