The majority of the Literary Trust's correspondence dates from after Sturgeon's death, and pertains largely to rights and licensing agreements arranged with various publishers, filmmakers, and radio broadcasters by trustee Noël Sturgeon and her attorneys. A small amount of correspondence at the end of the series dates from Sturgeon's lifetime, particularly during his separation from Marion Sturgeon.
