Scope and Contents

This series includes materials related to Wilson's teaching, as well as materials generally related to Wilson's career within and beyond the University of Kansas. Includes aggregated data from student evaluations of his courses, Wilson's annual reports and information gathered for tenure and promotion processes, sabbatical information, correspondence about potential jobs and administrative positions Wilson was interested in (including as dean of KU's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and director of the Hall Center for the Humanities), and some material related to specific classes Wilson taught, including syllabi and lecture notes.

This series also includes some materials related to Wilson's work with the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, as a visiting professor in military history at the Combat Studies Institute (CSI). There is some additional information related to visiting professorships he held elsewhere, including with the University of Leicester and University College Dublin.
