Mostly black and white portraits and candid shots of Ackers, sometimes with friends/family or colleagues. There are a very few photographs from Ackers' childhood, most are from throughout his adulthood. Two are in color, the rest in black and white. There are a few images of a dog, and one of what is presumably Ackers' unit in World War I, the men all in uniform.
