This series comprises photographs of street scenes in Lawrence, with a particular emphasis on Massachusetts, Mississippi, and Tennessee Streets in central Lawrence.

Streets running east-west through Lawrence were originally named after Revolutionary War heroes. In 1913, these streets were renamed as numbered streets.
