Precis: My sister and daughter have been ill since we came home, and my wife's sister Miss Hutchinson and one maid have been confined with rheumatic fever; Mrs W. "supports herself wonderfully." Can you help my younger son to become one of the three new Commissioners (Lord Lansdowne and Spring-Rice are the other two)?; his fitness; the Archbishop of Canterbury.
