Novellas and short stories, 1949 - 2015
Scope and Contents
Includes materials relating to novellas and short stories written by Donald Moffitt from childhood through his death, both under his own name and under a variety of pseudonyms. It is at times unclear whether or not certain manuscripts were ever published. Moffitt's earlier short fiction is very typical of the pulp magazine era, while his later short fiction tends to fall into the categories of science fiction, fantasy, and mystery. Materials include preparatory notes, research materials, outlines, some correspondence, draft and final manuscripts, and some magazines in which Moffitt's stories appeared.
All files are typewritten manuscripts unless otherwise noted. The bulk of materials in this sub-series are organized alphabetically by title; files toward the end of the sub-series include general materials related to novellas and short stories by Moffitt.
