Includes images of Oketo, Kansas; Lawrence and the University of Kansas ("K.U." in Moore's descriptions); Topeka, Kansas; La Cygne, Kansas; and from vacations taken in the Midwest and Northeastern United States (Indiana, Colorado, Illinois, Texas, Iowa, Ohio, and Pennsylvania). Most images are exteriors, but some are interiors, including some shots inside the Dyche Museum at KU.

Spencer Research Library staff ordered the glass plates in this collection based on the listing Moore provided in his first catalog (located at RH MS A8 volume 1 for the years 1893-1915). Some items could not be identified against Moore's list and have been inserted as deemed approproate by library staff. When the library did not appear to receive a negative--such as #1--this is noted in the finding aid, and those numbers were not used by Spencer Research Library staff.
