Deeds and mortgages, 1855 - 1969

Douglas County deeds include numerical indices of lots, indices to deeds, and deed records spanning 1855-1969. Deed records include copies of deeds filed for the record and typically show nature of instrument, date of indenture, names of grantee and grantor, description of property, consideration, and date of filing.

The indices to Douglas County deeds as well as deed records through 1917 (with the exception of deed records, vol. 46 [DCR volume 163]) are also available on microfilm at RH MF 196 reels 1-42.
