County Public Works, 1916 - 1958

The Douglas County Public Works Department maintains roads, bridges, culverts, Lone Star Lake, and parks across the county. The Department also maintains signage, provides roadside mowing services, removes snow and ice, and oversees design, surveying, and construction contracting.
