Municipal Court records, 1873 - 1961

The Lawrence City Municipal Court handles civil and criminal violations of city ordinances.

This series comprises civil, criminal, and justice dockets from the 1870s through the 1960s. The dockets summarize all actions taken in each case, recording case numbers, titles and causes, attorneys, dates and nature of pleadings filed and writs issued, sheriff’s returns, court orders, records of fees and costs, and dispositions of cases.
