Letter from Sarah (Jennings) Churchill, Duchess of Marlborough, to Lady Jersey, 19 June, 1734
File — Folder: 4
Dates
- Creation: 19 June, 1734
General
Offers a warrant for a buck, and flowers from Blenheim, for entertaining Mr Mansel and Lady Bab. Mr Mansel's a sad case; so are the proceedings in Scotland. Going to Windsor Lodge. 1 page.
[Presumably Lady Jersey is Sarah's granddaughter, Anne Egerton, newly married to William, 3rd earl of Jersey. Lady Bab is Jersey's sister and Bussy Mansell's wife.]
