Fraternity correspondence, 1928 - 1946
Scope and Contents
Dick Williams became a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity at the University of Kansas during his schooling there, from 1912-1916. He served as treasurer of the fraternity from 1928-1933, and held an untitled role of influence in fraternity affairs for some time after that.
As treasurer, Williams kept a close watch on mortgage payments on the Fraternity House, alumni donations, and delinquent pledges. Addresses were kept on members for this period and some information divulged about their activities can be found in the correspondence.
