World War II-related materials
Scope and Contents
The materials related to World War II include personal items, such as from Anderson's and his parents' food rationing, as well as general items from the era and copies of original envelopes and correspondence that do not appear related to R.G. Anderson or his family. Anderson collected some currency and stamps from this era, and in the first scrapbook that he compiled he included notes describing several of the items and providing contextual information.
The second binder of materials dates mostly from the late 1980s and early 1990s and is of a general nature regarding the history of World War II, including articles from news magazines such as Time or U.S. News & World Report.
Processing Information
Materials were removed from two binders/scrapbooks and retained in the order found in those volumes.
