Plaintiff: Meredith Davies (Haberdasher of Bristol), Giles Grevile (Apothecary). Defendant: Edward Grevile...Greviles, Miller, Farnell, Deverell. Testator: Mary Grevile of the Bristol. Heard before the Master of the Rolls May 17, 1743, who ordered plaintiff to pay defendant; plaintiff did not; therefore plaintiff's case was dismissed. Stamped paper measuring 38.5 x 31.4 cm. "This agrees with the Records Orders of Court and Report and Examined by me. J. Hamilton for the Deft Jeremiah Deverell." "Hardwick C." "W. Fortescue." "3d October 1744. DD by Henry Rooke." Processing Information
Formerly sewn at top (Plea Roll fashion), folded once and sewn along the gutter, thus produced in order to be bound with the other decrees (old sewing removed). This sewing was removed by Spencer Research Library staff in 1975 and the leaves left unfastened.
