Includes ome of her involvement with the Daughters of Isis in Wichita, KS, the Media Shrine Temple Members, a 25th Anniversary reception for another African American couple, and other subjects. Also includes a certificate of Buckner's acceptance into the Imperial Court Daughters of Isis on June 2, 1947.

Most of the photographs were taken by L.K. Hughes, Wichita, KS. Lauretta Buckner was a full time cook for Walter and Olive Ann Beech, founders of the Beech Aircraft Company.
