Contains personal papers from Wu’s childhood and youth related to his early writings and education from 1954 to 1977. Includes childhood drawings, drafts and notes of early works, yearbooks, journals, and school assignments. The majority of the records were created between 1954 and 1969.

The papers arrived in rough chronological order, and this arrangement has been maintained while processing the collection. Spencer Library staff reordered a few items to more closely match the intended arrangement.
