Largely consists of correspondence from Wint Smith while he was deployed in World War I and World War II to his wife Blanche. Other materials include news clippings, propaganda (U.S. and French), and insignia and other items from Smith's uniforms. The materials were donated by Freddie Murphy, who was Blanche Smith's caregiver at the end of her life.
