Scope and Contents
This series contains records documenting Busch's membership and service within the American Chemical Society (ACS), including papers concerning Busch's service on the Board of Directors at ACS and as president of ACS. Series includes commemorative event memorabilia; photographs; committee and national meeting minutes and agendas; strategic plans; travel documentation; ACS publications and newsletters; financial records; and directories.
This series also includes records documenting Busch's work on various committees and taskforces within the ACS, as well as his work with the Green Chemical Institute (GCI). Correspondence in this series documents awards, ACS presidential campaigns, interactions with ACS personnel, committee and taskforce work, ACS publications and research, GCI study groups, and ACS sponsored events and symposiums.
