Much like the photographic prints, items in earlier boxes in the flexible negatives sub-series were typically described in more detail and singularly; items in the latter boxes are typically grouped and described in more general detail. At one point several images regarding Keewatin were pulled out from the rest of the collection, possibly in aid of a research request or for a pilot description project, and these items are described in boxes 45 (prints) and 46 (flexible negatives). Descriptions provided in the finding aid may not be the complete descriptions provided by Harper from negative envelopes or other original housings.
