Draft of letter being written on behalf of Arthur Moore (see item at MS 143 Be.6 for more finished draft). Begins: "I am requested by Mr. Moore to acquaint your Lordship, that according to Mr. Walpole's directions to him to attend your Lordship, he has been several times at your Lordship's house, as at the Cockpit, without success." Requests that consideration of a Scottish fishery petition by "some persons of North Britain" be set aside awaiting preparation of a second petition, by "the Company of the Royal Fishery of England," and that the South Sea Company's concern "in carrying on that trade" also be considered
