Scope and Contents
This series consists of materials broadly related to Buddy Rogers, including growing up in Olathe, Kansas and his time in the Navy during World War II, passports and membership cards, biographical information about Rogers, personal trips he took, etc.
The series includes a small amount of material related to 1967 Christmas and Rogers' and Mary Pickford's gift-giving. The series also includes materials related to Pickfair, Pickfair Lodge built by Rogers on the Pickfair estate grounds after Mary Pickford passed away, and Rogers' decision to sell the estate and its contents toward the end of his life.
Folder titles "in quotations" were taken directly from original housing materials in the collection. Folder titles in [brackets] are more uncertain regarding the contents and their origin.
