Number 75. New York: Hamilton County, Falls Pond. [Includes extensive list of birds in the Falls Pond area.] My companion, Harry C. Raven, reported finding some broken shells of duck eggs under a bush or a the base of a tree on the brush-covered island shown in the photograph. They were presumably those of the hooded merganser.
