General

Letter to Thomas Moore. The Auditor thinks you've been badly treated; I've prepared a memorial in my own name for the Treasury with help of Oakley, encl [no enclosure with papers at Spencer]; My Kent recommends it Sir William Young * Kelfall [?]. "The Auditor does not seem well pleased with our friend Thomas More who I have followed 6 or 8 times since Xmas for the Certifycate required..." --the difficulty in getting access to the papers in the custody of Mr Westfallen and Mr More since the Commission determined will occasion a motion in the House of Commons. Lord Chancellor for me. The Great Sir Robert's lottery. Met Mr Mead at the Rainbow; you may be discharged on giving a note for £55. Overturned in Coach from Datchett.
