Newtownlemavady [now Limavady, Derry?], Londonderry. Letter to Arthur Moore, Bloomsbury Square. Letter from a stranger (married to a daughter of Mr John Kidds of Ballyclogh near Dunluce who was a friend of Arthur Moore's mother) asking him to forward the enclosed (copied at foot) to Captain Robert Jackson 1 of the 3 Captains of Horse Grenadiers in the Queens Guards in Colonel Lumley's [?] regiment, and return his answer. Lives near Arthur Moore's niece married to John tn Chelen [?]. Enclosure asks if RJ has paid JB's bond, since he's heard nothing of it and Jacob Alexander has had his bond paid; needs it in his old age for I was spoyled paying debts that I was bound for my old landlord Mr Philips [Limavady was built by Sir Thomas Phillips in 1610]; family news
