Moore, William. Draft of affadavit in case Meese against Moore. The defendant maketh oath that the Books papers and writings mentioned in the schedule hereunder is everything relevant to the accounts directed to be taken in this case (except for vouchers for payments; and papers relating to the duties of subsidy and aulnage in which the testor Arthur Moore was formerly concerned in partnership but sold his right in 1714, which the defendant may need to use to defend himself against a Bill of Arthur Moore 30 October 1696, settlement of 31 May 1717, probate of Arthur Moore's Will) which he could find in Arthur Moore's papers.
