London. Letter to Thomas Moore, uncle. Arranging our matter with Mr Meese without telling Father (so fallen away that he cannot last 6 months); I hope you can offer the money (repaid when Father gets the first money). I have 4 writs out against me; Meese has lent me £20 with which Mortimer is paying them. My man to be one witness and any farmer the other. Send John up with it quickly. The King has bailed Chartres; I have bought you a table
