Materials in this series are comprised primarily of materials removed from floppy discs containing correspondence, drafts of works-in-progress, and photographs. Materials have also been copied from a laptop Johnson provided at time of donation, including working drafts, materials related to Johnson's graduate studies and the Clarion Writers Workshop, and audio files.

A small number of floppy discs were physically retained for artwork on or attached to the discs themselves.
