Folder includes the following:

“The Republican State Ticket. The press of Kansas on the Nomination,” large newsprint sheet with commentary on the 1876 nomination of Colonel George T. Anthony, D.R. Anthony’s cousin, to be the Republican candidate for governor of Kansas.

The following papers may have been retained for personal, business, or political purposes: The Daily Leavenworth Times, September 7, 1878; The Leavenworth Times, August 15, 1880; The Leavenworth Press, June 2, 1881; Leavenworth Daily Standard, September 20, 1881.

A 1919 map showing planned roads from the Good Roads Association of Greater Kansas City, J. Frank Smith Manager includes map and printed text with sections on roadbuilding in Missouri and Kansas as well as diversifying agriculture in the two states, including yearly outputs and statistics on various crops.
