Scope and Contents

This series primarily consists of VHS tapes, along with 16 millimeter film reels, quarter-inch to two-inch film reels, audio cassette tapes, DVDS, and loose film. Several films have several different formats, while others have different cuts.

Clients that Centron worked with represented here include The National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA); John Deere; Maupintour; Caterpillar; American Parts; Frigidaire; and Sumner High School. The collection also includes cuts of independent Centron films, including “Leo Beuerman”; “Shake Hands with Danger”; "Korea: Ancient Culture, Modern Spirit”; “Brad’s Learning Disability”; “Scott’s New Old Friend”; and “The Conquered Dream.” Various bump reels, instructional videos, and various employee safety films are included in this series.

Cecil B. DeMille, a prominent American filmmaker who worked with Centron on a National Right to Work film, and Centron’s Academy Award-nominated film “Leo Beuerman” are featured in this series.
