Meliphaga lewinii -- Lewin's Honeyeater. Alternate name on piece: Ptilotus chrysotis [Yellow-eared honey-eater] Birds well drawn; in Gould's hand, "To be reversed"; traces of sealing wax at 2 points at foot of leaf, suggesting that something was attached there. Reversed on the stone. Artist's name(s): Gould, John; Richter, Henry Constantine.
