Lichenostomus leucotis -- White-eared Honeyeater. Alternate name on piece: Ptilotus leucotis [White-eared honey-eater] Birds well shaped, but the very heavily erased surface of the paper makes it inhospitable to pencil or watercolor; ink and some other dark pigment have been used; there are incisions in the paper, perhaps for tracing; marks in 3 corners where something may have been attached at some time.
