Lichenostomus melanops -- Yellow-tufted Honeyeater. Alternate name on piece: Ptilotus auricomus [Yellow-tufted honey-eater] Birds well drawn; erasure marks and incisions produce a very similar effect to that in Gould item 1382. Reversed on the stone. Artist's name(s): Gould, John; Richter, Henry Constantine.
