Lichenostomus cratitius -- Purple-gaped Honeyeater. Alternate name on piece: Ptilotus cratitus [Wattle-cheeked honey-eater] Birds well drawn, some color added; erasure marks and incisions produce a very similar effect to that in Gould items 1382 and 1383. Reversed on the stone. Artist's name(s): Gould, John; Richter, Henry Constantine.
