Regulus satrapa -- Golden-crowned Kinglet; Reyezuelo de oro, roitelet à couronne dorée. Alternate name on piece: Regulus cristatus [Golden-crested wren, or kinglet] Litho proof; published plate incorporates a number of changes called for here; 4 notes on form; scribbled indication of position of third bird (added before publication); marginal sketches; numerical calculations; at foot: "Regulus himalayensis, Blyth" (this species appears in Asia, but the text speaks to the differences); at head of page, upside down to the drawing, carefully written in ink "Deum scire est nihil nescire."
