Pitta iris: Lengthy note by Gould (late hand) on identification: "called Iridipitta iris, Gould, in Elliott's book?! / Rainbow dragoon / or Rainbow pitta / should be called Rainbow"; completely different from plate published in 1842 in Birds of Australia IV:3 (popular name Rainbow Pitta), and probably intended as a reworking for the Pittidae monograph.
