EKR's [Ernest Kip Robinson's] correspondence, 1936 - 1945
Sub-Series
Scope and Contents
Much of this correspondence was sent to Dr. Kip Robinson during World War II when he served as surgeon on the Naval aircraft carrier the U.S.S. Intrepid. Some envelopes feature anti-Nazi images and slogans. Betty Clapp wrote to her husband about the children and household matters, and friends and family wrote as well, often acknowledging that Robinson's whereabouts and doings were classified.
