After graduating, Davis establish a medical practice in Springfield, Masssachusetts. Contents of the correspondence refers to fellow Harvard students, including the impending death of Charles Hayward; alumni meetings and related social events; and Wheeler's current projects and work as a Greek tutor at Harvard University.
