KULAC [Kansas University Liberal Action Committee], Spring 1964

The KULAC was an affiliate of the national Students for a Democratic Society organization, whose bulletin is included along with the KULAC constitution. Laird Wilcox (originator of the Wilcox Collection at the Kenneth Spencer Research Library) served as an officer of KULAC and led discussions for the taped series SUA Minority Opinions Forum. The folder also contains papers from the Civil Rights Coordinating Committee's non-violent demonstrations opposing discriminatory housing on and off campus.
