The legislative files focus primarily on the committees of which Representative Love was a member and their reports: Local Government, Education, Governmental Organization. This subseries also holds some general material from the various legislative sessions and newsletters from groups concerned with certain pieces of legislation.

Of special interest are the files which deal with the Civil Rights Commission and the Kansas Minority Caucus, which are found at the end of this subseries.
