These two boxes contain clippings, letters, documents and other memorabilia of Representative Love's political career. Topics include legislative matters regarding cemetary concerns; taxes; education in the Kansas City, Kansas area; prison concerns; and other bills and acts coming before the Kansas House of Representatives. In addition, there are many photographs of Love posing with other political representatives, students, and family members.

The first box holds materials from twelve scrapbooks, arranged by year. In 2019 items were rehoused and refoldered by the conservation team, keeping the original order from the disassembled scrapbooks. In the second box the papers are loose and not affixed in scrapbooks, but were saved with that intent. They have been filed in folders according to the year and arranged chronologically from 1966 to 1985.
