Scope and Contents
Many of the photographs and negatives before the 1970s are scenes of family members, babies and children of the Robinsons, birthday celebrations, holiday celebrations of Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, hunting and fishing trips, and vacations.
After the 1970s, the scenes are primarily trips and visits to destinations all over the United States and some abroad to England, Greece, and other European locations. Several visits include the Botzers and hunting, fishing, and cabin activities. Several trips were taken to visit family and the Robinsons' grown children. Many of the trips were taken in conjunction with the Garden Club of America (GCA) and include many scenes of gardens, flowers, and landscaping. "Kenmore" is mentioned in several inscriptions from the 1970s-1990s.
The negatives in this series have more content than the photographs. It is possible that some photographs were removed and placed into photograph albums by Betty Robinson or other family members.

Processing Information
The photographs, negatives, and slides were received grouped together in the original envelope package from the photographic developing business. Most of the envelope packages were inscribed by Betty Robinson and possibly other family members with a note of the subject of the photographic materials and a date. The photographs, negatives, and slides in the envelope packages were separated during processing so that each photographic material could be stored separately in folders and boxes. The inscription written on the envelope package was written on each folder of material.
A student assistant initially separated the material and inserted the negatives into sleeves and wrote an abbreviated note of the inscription. The processing archivist completed writing the inscription on the folders.
